The members of FBC Troy and our staff are proud to be an active part of our community. We believe that God has placed us in Troy and the surrounding area for one reason – WE ARE HERE TO SHARE CHRIST WITH OTHERS ON A DAILY BASIS!
Throughout the year, we participate in or offer a variety of local mission activities. Some of these include (but are not limited to):

Salem-Troy Baptist Association
THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF TROY, ALABAMA IS A PROUD AND SUPPORTIVE MEMBER OF THE SALEM-TROY BAPTIST ASSOCIATION.
Salem-Troy Baptist Association located in Pike County Alabama is thirty four churches joining together to do what they cannot do alone. Each church is independent and unique.However all the churches have the same ministry, to share the gospel of Christ with all who will receive it and to glorify God. Our association is affiliated with the Alabama Baptist State Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Salem-Troy Baptist Association is to:
- Exalt the name of Jesus Christ,
- Expand the Kingdom through missions and evangelism,
- Equip church leaders for ministry,
- Enlist churches in the work of the broader Southern Baptist Convention.
Vision Statement:
To one day see all members of all Salem-Troy Baptsit Association’s churches obeying the Great Commandment and fulfilling the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20)
