One God. One Mission.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses

in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

ACTS 1:8 Strategy

FBC Troy is an Acts 1:8 Church. Matthew 28:18-20 says, "And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." We are passionate about boldly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that every Christian is called to missions. God sends us out to make Him known to every tribe, tongue and nation so people everywhere will know and worship the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this in our own community, in our state, in our country, and around the world.

God called us to be His witness in Jerusalem, in all Judea, Samaria, and the the Ends of the Earth. Our Jerusalem is the city of Troy, Pike County and surrounding areas. Our Judea is the state of Alabama. Our Samaria is North America. Our Ends of the Earth is outside North America.

We also believe it is important to celebrate God's work around the world. Learn more about how we do that.
