Our Receptionist/Ministry Assistant's last day is December 30, 2021.
The Receptionist/Ministry Assistant is responsible to the Church Administrator for receiving visitors, telephone calls, mail, and deliveries to the Church Office and for performing secretarial duties related to the Office Staff.
Responsibilities:
Receive all visitors to the Church Office; answer their questions, give assistance, or refer
to appropriate staff member.
Answer and process all telephone calls and messages.
Sort and classify mail; maintain postage meter and order postage when necessary.
Maintain church calendar; coordinate and manage calendar of events, use of facilities,
and church vehicles.
Prepare outgoing mail and see that it is taken to the mailbox each day.
Take reservations for meals at the Church.
Maintain a neat outer office and reception office.
Notify all church committee/teams, councils and Deacons concerning meetings.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and various files; keep records and compile these
into periodic or occasional reports as requested.
Maintain membership records in Realm.
Prepare monthly rolls for all Sunday school classes and maintain weekly attendance
records.
Assist the Church Administrator in preparing publications for the church including the
weekly church bulletin and any other items that need publishing.
Coordinate baptisms, parent/child dedications and wedding requests.
Assign key fobs for Family Life Center.
Maintain a ‘Continuity Manual’ for the position that enumerates the day-to-day
activities and responsibilities of the role.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Church Administrator.

Schedule:
The hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday.
