What is the Gospel?

The word “gospel” means “good news.” So what is the good news of Christianity? According to 1 Corinthians 15:1-11, it's that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that Christ was buried, and that Christ rose from the dead the third day and was seen by a multitude of people.
