Congregational Care Ministry

TAKING CARE OF OUR FAITH FAMILY…

The following activities encompass our congregational care ministry:

• Bereavement Committee-cooks and serves food to church families during periods of bereavement
• Basket Ministry-assembles and delivers “goodie” baskets to church members who are sick, shut-in or just need something to brighten their day
• Homebound Ministry-visits our homebound members on a regular basis
• Troy Health & Rehab Ministry-Banana Bingo-3rd Monday of each month, members of the church gather to lead residents in familiar hymns and play bingo
• Noble Manor Ministry-church members take turns going to the lodges to conduct a combination Sunday school/worship service
• Intercessory prayer room-available to church members over the age of 19 acknowledging that a certain amount of maturity is necessary to respond to telephone requests that may be called in during the assigned time
• Greeters for Sunday Morning and evening Services
• First Impression Service Team (F.I.S.T.)
