What is the Gospel?

The word “gospel” means “good news.” So what is the good news of Christianity? According to 1 Corinthians 15:1-11, it's that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that Christ was buried, and that Christ rose from the dead the third day and was seen by a multitude of people.

About the event
Our desire is to prepare college students to be sent to all parts of the state, country, and world with understanding the value of being a member to the Body of Christ. We strive to teach students to obey through discipleship, prepare them to minister through experiences alongside other believers, and equip them to clearly communicate the Gospel to lost people everywhere. We encourage and equip college students to be active in this framework alongside other members and generations at First Baptist Church of Troy. College Sunday is the first step into this journey, where college students can dive into the local body by worshipping alongside us in hopes that we can one day equip them to delight in God, enjoy him forever, and make his name known.
